Hi Hansi & Jacky,
By now Hansi you should be back from your trip & Jacky will have had fun around Sydney in your absence. We are in Brisbane & leave for Ballina tomorrow then we will be heading to Tamworth for Christmas with our daughter & her family.
How are you enjoying the east coast – very different from the west, & the centre. No lovely warm springs this side of Australia – unless you venture to the Moree district.
We often think of you & wonder what you are seeing on this side of Aussie land. Hope all going well & that you have a great Christmas „Down Under“.
Philip bought up the Didgeridoo topic today & we heard Jacky laughing in the back seat.
Cheers Philip & Rosemary
Hi Hansi & Jackie,
Was a surprise to see you at Katherine. We are at present in Cloncurry cleaning up & catching up on washing after spending 7 days free camping from Mataranka to Cloncurry. Spent 4 days at Corella Dam with friends – hadn’t seen them for a few years so was a great 4 days. We leave for Normanton on Thursday & then head towards Innisfail. Hope we can catch up with you again along the track. Travel safely.
Cheers
Philip & Rosemary

Hello Hansi and Jacky
It’s Colin here, sending our greetings. Here’s hoping the weather is being kind to you and that you are both healthy.
We arrived home yesterday after being away for 5 weeks. Really enjoyed the time and can’t wait until we follow your footsteps in the big lap. Intending to do that next year but not planned anything as yet.
I have just spent an hour looking through your pictures and reading the text, once I realised that translation was possible.
Your tyre problem you had is to be expected some time but you always hope it does not. This year I have had 3. We arrived home with a screw neatly embedded in the left rear caravan tyre. I knew there was a slow leak and I put air in twice and just watched it until I got home. I did not know it was a screw until I looked at home and the tyre was such that it showed easily. So I removed the tyre today to take for repair tomorrow.
I loved your pictures as most are familiar to us. Karajini is a favoured spot of ours from the 3 years we spent in Paraburdoo. We spent many a weekend in the gorges. Looking forward to returning on the bitumen roads. All gravel when we were there.
Your whale sharks, dolphins Ningaloo and snorkling, what a way to go!
After we left you we had 2 days in Carnarvon, one night free camping on our way to Kalbarri (Galena Bridge), 3 nights at Kalbarri, 2 nights at Geraldton, one night at Dongara and one at Jurien. Then to Bunbury for 5 nights. We actually called in at home for 2 nights before Bunbury to farewell our daughter as she and husband to be left for their 4 weeks in Germany / USA getting married in Las Vegas. Not sure if we discussed that while at Quobba.
We really enjoyed meeting you both and spending time talking. Would love to have travelled a bit longer with you. We do hope we can meet up again in March 2014 or somewhere in between if we get going earlier. When you get back to Perth, we would love to host you and check out the final parts of your wonderful Australian adventure. Do you have any contacts in Perth?
May we wish you continued safe travels and much fun along the way. We will continue to watch your adventure unfold. Keep in touch.
Best wishes & hearty hugs.

Hello Colin and Carrol
Glad to hear from you and that you have arrived home save and with great new Memory’s. So far the weather was very kind with
us, but since Monday we have had most of the time rain. We wanted to go to the Eighty Mile Beach, but due to heavy rain it was
closed, so we moved on to Broome.
Here we will stay a few more days and then will probably go a little bit further north for free camping, after that we are heading towards the Kimberly’s.
We also enjoyed meeting you and we are looking forward to see you in Perth at the end of our journey around your lovely Country.
warm Greetings from cold Broome
Hansi & Jacky
